Wales international Aaron Wainwright will play his 100th league game and final appearance as a Dragon at Rodney Parade as the club face Edinburgh Rugby in the BKT United Rugby Championship on Saturday (kick-off 7.45pm).
Wainwright will run out for his century of league appearance and for the final time on home soil as Head Coach Filo Tiatia makes six changes to the side that were defeated in the European semi-finals at Montpellier.
Harrison Keddie is recalled to the starting line-up – playing alongside Thomas Young and Wainwright in the back row – while Seb Davies is paired with Ben Carter in the second row.
Prop Dillon Lewis and hooker Brodie Coghlan also return as the Men of Gwent make four changes in the forwards.
Scrum half Rhodri Wiliams is back to partner Tinus de Beer while the final change is a recall for Jared Rosser on the wing.
Back row Ryan Woodman is set to make his 50th appearance for the club from the replacements bench. Woodman is joined by returning prop Rhodri Jones and centre Harri Ackerman.
Tiatia said: “We’re looking forward to the game and want to finish the season strong. It’s our last home game and important to us how we front up.
“The fans are important to us too, the community we play in, so we need to put in a performance and really celebrate with a scrap at home.
“Edinburgh will pose a stern test. They are a good set piece team, have some good plays and can be very direct.
“They have a lot of international players in their squad so we are looking forward to them coming down on what will be a big night for us in front of our supporters.”
