Dragons RFC can today confirm seven players will leave the club following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Two club centurions finish their playing days with the Men of Gwent after outstanding contributions in club colours.
It was announced earlier this season that back row Aaron Wainwright would depart after nine seasons at Dragons RFC for a new playing challenge outside of Wales.
It was also confirmed earlier today that hooker James Benjamin, who has made 104 appearances over 13 seasons, will finish his playing days at Rodney Parade at the end of this season.
Our two centurions are joined by wing Ewan Rosser (28 appearances), prop Luke Yendle (22 appearances), scrum half Niall Armstrong (11 appearances) and hooker George Roberts (four appearances).
Back row Mackenzie Martin (four appearances) will also leave the club following the completion of his loan agreement from Cardiff Rugby.
This group join Cebo Dlamini, Wills Austin, Solomone Funaki and Steve Cummins who departed in season with our thanks and well wishes.
Head Coach Filo Tiatia said: “I’d like to take this opportunity on behalf of everyone at Dragons RFC to thank those leaving us at the end of the season for the commitment and professionalism they’ve always shown throughout their time at Rodney Parade.
“Players such as Aaron and James have played over a century of games for the club and will leave a lasting impression with their impact and performances.
“We wish all those leaving us every success moving forward and will aways warmly welcome them and their families back to Rodney Parade in the future.”
