Dragons RFC Community team are pleased to announce the launch of ‘Club Fest 26’ – a huge end-of-season festival for teams at Rodney Parade this May.
This huge festival at the home of Dragons RFC will see teams from Under-7s to Under-10s compete in a tournament on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.
The tournament will see takes take part a round robin format, with games kicking off at 11am on both days and following WRU pathway laws, with some variations. Each team will play six games in the tournament.
Every participant will receive a medal and there will also be official team photographs and a special changing room and tunnel experience.
The cost of entry is £70 per team, or clubs can enter two teams at the discounted rate of £120. All entries must be secured by a £30 non-refundable deposit.

Entry Fees & Booking
- Entry per team is £70.
- A £30.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your team’s place.
- The remaining £40 must be paid via the booking link no later than Friday 6th March.
- All bookings and deposits must be completed using the links sent in the original email to all clubs.
Multiple Team Entries
- Clubs may enter more than one team.
- A maximum of two teams per age group is permitted.
- A discounted rate of £120 applies for two teams entered in the same age group.
- All entries must be secured with a £30 non-refundable deposit.
What Does the Entry Fee Include?
- The entry fee covers: All registered players, two coaches & one team organiser
- Any additional coaches, organisers, or spectators must purchase tickets via the link sent to all clubs.
What Can You Expect on the Day?
- Changing room and tunnel experience
- Team name displayed on pitch-side LED boards and the big screen
- Medals for every player
- Matches played on the main pitch at Rodney Parade
- Official match-day photography
Pre-Event Club Meeting
- Approximately two weeks prior to the festival, a club meeting will be held either at Rodney Parade or via Microsoft Teams.
- During this meeting, the running order, fixtures, pitch allocations, and key event details will be confirmed.
- This meeting will also provide clubs with the opportunity to ask any further questions they may have regarding the event.
- Attendance from at least one representative per club is strongly encouraged.
Laws & Playing Format
- All matches will be played in line with the current Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) Pathway Laws for the relevant age group.
- Teams are strongly encouraged to follow the WRU Half a Game Initiative throughout the festival
Under 7s & Under 8s
- Matches will be played across three pitches.
- Each pitch will host 7 teams.
- Each team will play 6 games, with each game lasting 10 minutes.
Under 9s & Under 10s
- Matches will be played across two pitches, with 7 teams per pitch.
- Each team will play 6 games, with each game lasting 10 minutes
