Eight Dragons are in action this weekend in the Super Rygbi Cup, as Ebbw Vale and Newport look to keep their momentum following wins last weekend.
The Black and Ambers produced a second half fightback from 12-0 down at Cardff to win 19-33 and will hope to back that up at home to RGC.
Harri Ackerman is at 12 for Newport, following his brace off the bench last weekend, while there are also starting spots for wing Noah Morgan and backrower Tiehi Chatham in the Black and Ambers side.
Amongst the replacement are Wales U19s captain Cerrig Smith and scrumhalf Carter Pritchard, who will be hoping to continue on from his try scoring debut last weekend, while James Benjamin is making his return from injury.
Newport sit atop Pool A in Super Rugby Cup – following two wins and a draw and know that a maximum six points against RGC will secure them top spot in the pool.
For Ebbw Vale, Will Ford makes his second start at 10 after his nine-point haul last weekend against Aberavon.
The Steelmen sit second in Pool B and have the chance to close the gap to top spot Llandovery with a win at the Electric Brewery Field against Bridgend.
Meanwhile, hooker George Roberts is on the bench for RGC, with the hooker set to play against Newport tomorrow and is named on the bench.
Roberts made 71 appearances for RGC with his last coming in February 2020.
Elsewhere, Luke Yendle makes his first start for Harlequins in the Prem Rugby Cup at home to Northampton, while Barny Langton-Cryer is on the bench.
Yendle and Langton-Cryer were part of the Quins’ side who beat Saracens last weekend and will be hoping for a similar result this weekend.
