There’s still plenty to look forward to this season, with Rodney Parade set to host the BUCS Super Rugby Milk Championship finals as well as home matches against the Vodacom Bulls and Edinburgh in the URC.
Both Loughborough’s women’s and men’s sides will compete in their respective BUCS Super Rugby Milk Championship finals, facing Brunel Women’s and Bath Men’s.
These matchups promise to showcase a wealth of exciting young talent, including England U20s captain Connor Treacey from Bath Men’s and England U20s star Jas Adonri from Loughborough Women’s.
For Dragons, attention turns first to this Friday’s clash against the Vodacom Bulls, where they’ll be aiming to extend their winning streak to three matches.
Dragons also boast an impressive recent unbeaten run at home, following wins against Lyons, Connacht, Newcastle and Scarlets, plus last month’s draw against Benetton.
After Bulls, they then face Zebre once again, hoping to replicate their dramatic 35–32 victory at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in their previous meeting.
Following those two URC fixtures, Dragons are back in European action with a trip to Montpellier for the Challenge Cup semi-final at the Septeo Stadium. One win away from the final in Bilbao.
After that, Dragons return to Rodney Parade to host Edinburgh in what promises to be a tightly contested fixture, with just 2 points separating the sides in the current URC standings.
Dragons finish the regular season with a Welsh derby against Scarlets. With both teams battling for position in the rankings, Scarlets currently sitting just above Dragons, it’s set to be an exciting encounter.
The Men of Gwent will take confidence from their last meeting in January, where they secured a convincing 28–5 win and will be looking to complete a memorable double.
With such tight competition coming up, the next few weeks promises to be an exciting run for Dragons.
Two home games are remaining, so make sure you’re there for Friday night’s clash against the Vodacom Bulls by getting your tickets HERE.
