Scarlets Fixture: Seating & Terrace Update

12/09/2025

Supporters attending the pre-season fixture with Scarlets at Rodney Parade on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) are advised we have now made changes to which areas of the stadium will be open.

Due to huge ticket sales in the last few days and anticipated adverse weather conditions, the two main stands and Candleston Homes Terrace will now be open.

Supporters are advised of the following changes:

North Stand: This will be closed due to the anticipated adverse weather. Ticket holders are asked to enter via Gate 3 and proceed to the Candleston Homes Stand which will be unreserved seating.

South Stand: This will be closed due to the anticipated adverse weather. Ticket holders asked to enter via Gate 3 and proceed to the Candleston Homes Stand which will be unreserved seating.

Bisley Stand: Ticket holders and Season Members in this stand are advised that it will be open as normal – via Gate 4 - with unreserved seating allocated on a first come, first seated basis.

Candleston Homes Stand - Season Members: You are asked to enter via Gate 3 and take your place in the Candleston Homes Stand. This will be unreserved seating for this game.

Candleston Homes Terrace - Season Members: The terrace will now be open for this game. You are asked to enter via Gate 3.

Rodney’s Bar: Supporters wishing to use this bar on match day are asked to enter via Gate 6 and then take a seat in the Bisley Stand.

Rhys Blumberg, CEO at Dragons RFC, said: “We made the original decision to shut the Candleston Homes Stand and terrace based on crowd expectations for a pre-season game.

“However, due to the high demand for tickets and supporters voting with their feet for the Men of Gwent, plus expected adverse weather conditions, we have now made several alterations to help all supporters enjoy the occasion and stay warm and dry.

“Please listen to the instructions from stewards on match day and arrive in plenty of time to take your seat for what I am sure will be an exciting pre-season fixture at the home of the Dragons.

“Finally, a huge thank you to all supporters who have ensured that a big crowd will be at Rodney Parade to welcome rugby back for the 2025/26 season.”
