Full back Angus O’Brien captains Dragons RFC as the Men of Gwent complete pre-season fixtures with a friendly against Scarlets at Rodney Parade on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
O’Brien leads a 33-man squad and operates in a back three that also features Rio Dyer and Huw Anderson.
Fly half Tinus de Beer gets a first taste of Rodney Parade as a home player and links with Che Hope at half back. Joe Westwood and Aneurin Owen will combine in midfield.
New props Wyn Jones and Rob Hunt will pack down either side of Wales international Elliot Dee up front while Matthew Screech and Barny Langotn-Cryer are paired at lock.
Number Eight Mackenzie Martin plays in back row alongside fellow newcomer Harry Beddall and Shane Lewis-Hughes.
A powerful bench sees a welcome return for club co-captain Ben Carter while Tongan ace Solomone Funaki and Wales summer touring trio Aaron Wainwight, Chris Coleman and Rhodri Williams all could feature.
