Dragons RFC is delighted to announce the Dragons Community Awards - celebrating achievements within our community programme and within rugby across clubs, schools and organisations across Gwent – will return next May.
The awards on Thursday, May 13, 2027 will see us once again celebrate community success stories in our provisions and across Gwent as we recognise the clubs, schools, coaches and volunteers who make such a difference and support our sport’s growth.
The first ever Dragons Community Awards event was held last May as we recognised excellence, commitment, and impact in community rugby and social inclusion initiatives.

Mike Sage, Head of Community at Dragons RFC, said: “We’re delighted to announce the Dragons Community Awards will return to Rodney Parade in May 2027.
“This year’s event was a huge success as we recognised and celebrated key individuals and organisations who interact with our Family of Provisions every year alongside the incredible work going on in our wider community across the region.
“Nominations will open in the coming weeks so individuals and clubs who make a difference to our game can be recognised.
