Dragons RFC hooker Elliot Dee was powerless to stop world champions South Africa scoring 12 tries in an emphatic 80-31 victory over the Barbarians.
Dee started for the invitational side, however, the Springboks were at their ruthless best as they scored a dozen tries in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth).
Edwill van der Merwe led the way with a hat-trick for the world champions who scored six tries in either half in a dominant display.
Dee now is expected to stay with the Baa-Baas squad for their clash with Wales in London next weekend.
