Dragons RFC will tackle French Top 14 sides Perpignan and Bayonne on home soil in the EPCR Challenge Cup group stages for the 2026/27 season.
The dates for the pool stages of the EPCR Challenge Cup and broadcasters have today (Friday) been confirmed by tournament organisers EPCR. The 2026/27 season fixtures have once again been generated using the algorithm provided by EPCR’s fixture software supplier.
The opening game of the tournament for the Men of Gwent – who play in Pool 1 – will be against USA Perpignan at Rodney Parade on Friday, October 16 (kick-off 8pm).
Filo Tiatia’s men travel in Round 2 as we face Toyota Cheetahs on Sunday, December 13 (kick-off 2pm local time). The location of this fixture in Europe is yet to be confirmed.
Dragons are back on home soil in Round 3 with a clash against Aviron Bayonnais at Rodney Parade on Friday, January 8 (kick-off 8pm).
The final round of the pool stages sees Dragons jet to Belfast to face Ulster Rugby at Affidea Stadium on Saturday, January 16 (kick-off 3.15pm).

Round 1: Friday, October 16 - Dragons RFC vs USAP – Rodney Parade – 8pm.
Round 2: Sunday, December 13 – Toyota Cheetahs vs Dragons RFC – TBC – 2pm local time.
Round 3: Friday, January 8 – Dragons RFC vs Aviron Bayonnais – Rodney Parade – 8pm.
Round 4: Saturday, January 16 – Ulster Rugby vs Dragons RFC – Affidea Stadium – 3.15pm.
