Dragons RFC were delighted to welcome Medical Emergency Doctor Service Wales (MEDSERVE) to Rodney Parade on Wednesday morning as they take on their fundraising, Cardiff to Eiffel Tower, challenge.
As part of this challenge, the team will cycle 500km and ascend over 4,500 metres across four days, all in support of this crucial cause.
Joining them on the trip are former Wales Rugby Union captain Ellis Jenkins, along with fellow ex-Welsh international and Lions stars Josh Navidi and Alex Cuthbert.
MEDSERVE Wales is a charitable organisation made up of volunteer immediate care practitioners who work across Wales to support people in times of urgent need.
Established in 1994, their dedicated volunteers team of doctors, nurses and paramedics work alongside emergency services, including the Welsh Ambulance Service and the NHS, providing vital pre-hospital emergency care.
Volunteers respond both individually and as part of teams to deliver enhanced care to seriously ill and injured patients.
So far, MEDSERVE has raised over £9,000, coming close to their fundraising target.
