Dragons RFC can announce that hooker Will Austin has joined the club on a short-term loan deal from Sale Sharks.
A former Wales Under-20s international, the 21-year-old joins having combined his Academy duties at Sale with his studies at Swansea University.
Named captain of Swansea University’s BUCS Super Rugby side for the 25/26 season, Austin began playing junior rugby at Colwyn Bay Rugby Club.
The hooker – known as Wills - made his professional debut for Ospreys last season as a substitute against Leinster in the BKT United Rugby Championship.
Austin has linked up with the Men of Gwent this week ahead of our home league fixture against Leinster on Friday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).
