The fixtures are out! Dragons RFC can look forward to an October derby date with Cardiff Rugby under the lights in Newport as part of the new BKT United Rugby Championship fixtures that were released today.
The dates and kick-off times for all 18 rounds of the new league season - and our nine home games - have today been announced.
And the Men of Gwent can look forward to a blockbuster October in Newport with three huge games – including two massive Welsh derby dates.
Dragons will kick-off the new BKT United Rugby Championship season in Belfast against Ulster Rugby at Ulster Rugby Stadium on Friday, September 26 (kick-off 8.05pm).
After the Ulster opener, Filo Tiatia’s men face a mouth-watering October which all begins with the visit of Hollywoodbets Sharks for our home opener at Rodney Parade on Friday, October 3 (kick-off 8.05pm).
After an away date at Glasgow on Saturday, October 11, Dragons return home for two epic back-to-back Welsh derby games. We tackle Cardiff Rugby on Friday, October 17 (kick-off 7.45pm) before welcoming Ospreys on Saturday, October 25 (kick-off 5.30pm).
There is confirmation of our big Boxing Day away trip to Cardiff Rugby (kick-off 3pm) while we kick-off 2026 with a New Year’s Day home fixture with Scarlets Rugby (kick-off 3pm).
Supporters can also look forward to the visit of Benetton (February 28) and Vodacom Bulls (April 17) in 2026 before a final home game with Edinburgh on Saturday, May 9. We finish the season with an away date at Scarlets on Saturday, May 16.
On sale dates for fixtures alongside ticket prices will be announced in due course.
