Ten New Dragons and Counting…

The loan signing of Mackenzie Martin makes it 10 new arrivals for Dragons - to date - ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The new signings add to the 15 Dragons Academy and senior players who have signed new deals to remain at Rodney Parade.

Re-signings include vice-captains Harrison Keddie and Aneurin Owen along with current Wales squad members Elliot Dee and Rhodri Williams.

But let’s recap the new faces so far of those you might have missed…

Harry Beddall

Age: 20, Position: Flanker

The Wales U20s captain signed from Leicester Academy having already impressed the Rodney Parade faithful with an incredible 34 tackles against Ireland in the Six Nations and is a real threat over the ball.

Tinus de Beer

Age: 29, Position: Fly-half

Former Springboks under-20s fly-half de Beer joined from Cardiff having impressed during his two seasons at the Arms Park, wining both Players’ and Fans’ player of the year awards during his debut term.

Seb Davies

Age: 29, Position: Second Row/Back Row

Second row Seb Davies also joined from Cardiff this summer having reached 150 appearances for the club and is an athletic Wales international who is a confident lineout caller.

Levi Douglas

Age: 29, Position: Second Row

Powerful ball-carrier Levi Douglas signed from French side Biarritz and is capable of dominating the gainline on both sides of the ball and is Welsh qualified through grandfather who hails from Port Talbot.

Fine Inisi

Age: 27, Position: Wing/Outside

Centre Tongan international Fine Inisi is comfortable playing at 13 or on the wing and joined from Super Rugby side Moana Pasifika with his combination of power and footwork set to provide a real threat to opposition defences.

Wyn Jones

Age: 33, Position: Prop

Wales international Wyn Jones signed from English Premiership side Harlequins having impressed following his move from Parc y Scarlets and is able to cover both sides of the scrum, whilst offering a threat over the ball.

Dillon Lewis

Age: 29, Position: Prop

Tighthead Dillon Lewis also made the switch from Quins’ Twickenham Stoop this summer and brings vast experience to the front row with more than 50 caps for Wales and represented his country at the 2019 and 2023 World Cups.

Mackenzie Martin

Age: 21, Position: Back Row

Wales international Mackenzie Martin signed on loan from Cardiff ahead of this season and is a powerful ball-carrier from the base of the scrum having impressed for Cardiff and Wales during the last two seasons.

Fetuli Paea

Age: 30, Position: Centre

Tongan centre Fetuli Paea is no stranger to URC fans having impressed for Zebre Parma this season and possesses a strong offloading game along with footwork and power aand is equally comfortable with 12 or 13 on his back.

Thomas Young

Age: 33, Position: Flanker

Wales international flanker Thomas Young joins following his second spell at Cardiff rugby following an impressive try-scoring record at Wasps with more than 30 tries in 150 appearances and is an exciting threat with ball in hand and in the tackle area.

Additional Signings

Wales U19s front row pair Codi Purnell and James Talamai have joined Dragons’ Academy from Bath and Saracens respectively joining an exciting group of youngsters at the club.

Alongside them, Huw Anderson, Evan Minto, Jordan Morris, Harry Rees-Weldon and Nick Thomas have all signed new deals over the summer and are joined by Wales U20 stars Harri Ford, Logan Franklin and Owain James, along with back rower Owen Conquer.
