Dragons RFC will tackle French Top 14 giants Lyon and face English Premiership outfit Newcastle Falcons at Rodney Parade in the EPCR Challenge Cup for the 2025/26 season.
The dates for the pool stages of the EPCR Challenge Cup and broadcasters have today (Tuesday) been confirmed by tournament organisers EPCR. The 2025/26 season fixtures have once again been generated using the algorithm provided by EPCR’s fixture software supplier.
The opening game of the tournament for the Men of Gwent – who play in Pool 2 – will be against Perpignan at Stade Aime Giral on Sunday, December 7 (kick-off 2pm local time).
Filo Tiatia’s men return home the following weekend for Round 2 as we entertain last year’s runners-up Lyon at Rodney Parade on Sunday, December 14 (kick-off 3.15pm).
Dragons hit the road again in Round 3 with a clash against BKT United Rugby Championship rivals Benetton Rugby at Stadio Comunale di Monigo on Saturday, January 10 (kick-off 6.30pm).
The final round of the pool stages will see Dragons back at Rodney Parade as we face Newcastle Falcons under the lights on Friday, January 16 (kick-off 8pm).

- Round 1: Sunday, December 7 - USAP vs Dragons RFC – Stade Aime Giral – 2pm local time.
- Round 2: Sunday, December 14 – Dragons RFC vs Lyon Olympique – Rodney Parade – 3.15pm.
- Round 3: Saturday, January 10 – Benetton Rugby vs Dragons RFC – Stadio Comunale di Monigo – 6.30pm local time.
- Round 4: Friday, January 16 – Dragons RFC vs Newcastle Falcons – Rodney Parade – 8pm.
